As a Black marine scientist, Camille Gaynus wants to show people everywhere that Black people can be scientists. She also wants to show young children of color that they, too, can be a marine scientist.
Penn State University Libraries’ Vairo Library at Penn State Brandywine is beginning a lending partnership with Delaware County Libraries. Now, library users from any of the county library system’s 28 locations may use their existing public library card to check out books and other items from Vairo Library and other Penn State University Libraries locations.
The Penn State Brandywine Advisory Board has granted emeritus status to three long-serving board members who have contributed significantly to the campus’ growth and success in recent years. The three outgoing members were honored at the Advisory Board’s quarterly meeting on Nov. 15.
A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more.
