MEDIA, Pa. — Members of the Penn State Brandywine community gathered on Sept. 27 to celebrate Stephen Cimbala, distinguished professor of political science, for his 50 years of service to the campus. Cimbala began his career at Brandywine in 1973 and has held multiple roles at the campus, including professor and director of academic affairs. He was also fortunate enough to work under the leadership of John Vairo, the first chancellor (then called campus director) of Brandywine.
