Jonathan C. Savage serves as a Vice President for Pennoni Associates, an 1100-person engineering/construction services company. Mr. Savage is responsible for the oversight and management of the company’s 16-person Business Development Team, as well as the development of national business accounts and opportunities for the firm throughout the company’s geographic areas and various disciplines. Mr. Savage is also responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the firm’s international business opportunities.

Jonathan is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University (BS in Geography), with expertise in land use planning, strategic growth, landscape architecture, grant writing, financial analysis, and economic development. Mr. Savage has significant financial experience in the development of regional, national, and international business projects throughout his career, including public leadership positions for the State of New Jersey, Cumberland County NJ, and Delaware County PA, as well as the private sector.

Mr. Savage is a former elected official and has served in a variety of community leadership positions, including President of the Ewing Township (NJ) School Board (2002-2011), and the Ewing Township Public Education Foundation (1997-2002). Mr. Savage has previously served as the President of the Ewing Presbyterian Church and has served as an active volunteer in several charitable organizations that contribute to the “greater good” of the Philadelphia and Central New Jersey regions. Mr. Savage is also a member of the Penn State Brandywine Campus Advisory Board, currently serving as President, and has previously served on the Internship/Co-Op, and Development Committees. Mr. Savage is a former elected member of the Penn State Alumni Association Council, serving between 2018 and 2021.

Mr. Savage is a singer-songwriter, and regularly performs as a solo artist and in his own rock band, typically for community fundraisers and regional music festivals. Mr. Savage is a lead vocalist and acoustic/electric guitar player and has performed several highly regarded and local music venues throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has published three albums of original songs entitled “Who I Am” and “I’m Just Saying” and “Good to Go”.

Jonathan has been happily married to his spouse, Ruth Raimo Savage (Penn State alumna, Marketing), since 1987. Mr. and Mrs. Savage have two adult sons, Joshua and Zachary, both of whom are employed as K-12 teachers/educators in New Jersey.
