Brandywine chancellor gives academic honors to softball players

When seven members of the Penn State Brandywine softball team could not attend the campus' academic recognition ceremony due to a game conflict, Brandywine Chancellor Kristin Woolever stopped by shortly before the game to present the students with their certificates on April 10. Shortly after, Woolever returned to campus to honor the other 242 Brandywine students' academic achievements at the ceremony.

What happens when seven Brandywine softball players earn academic honors but the Academic Recognition Ceremony is on the same day as a home doubleheader? Campus Chancellor Kristin Woolever makes a house call (or is that a “field” call?) to present their certificates prior to the first game. Woolever then returned to campus, where she congratulated another 242 Brandywine students for their academic achievements at the ceremony, which took place on April 10.
