Penn State Brandywine students recently had the opportunity to spend five weeks in Seoul, South Korea, through a unique study-abroad partnership with Sungkyunkwan University.
It will be a little easier for Penn State Brandywine students, faculty and staff to get around on two wheels thanks to a $1,000 grant from the Delaware County Transportation Management Association (DCTMA), which paid for the installation of two new bike racks on campus. Joining the Penn State Brandywine faculty this fall is Peggy Signorella, distinguished professor of psychology and women’s, gender and sexuality studies. Signorella has long held connections to the University — first as a student, and in recent years, as an instructor and mentor.
After completing an internship with Southco — a manufacturing company that serves the transportation, electronics and hardware industries — Brandywine engineering major Mitch Engleka continues to work part time at the firm while completing his degree.
James Berkey, assistant professor of English and director of the writing studio, is one of two Cooper Memorial Faculty Fellowship recipients this year.
The David and Marjorie Rosenberg Career Development Professorship for Leadership and Innovation was awarded to Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Studies Kristen Goessling.
