Artistic inspiration can be found in unexpected places. For Anthony Vega, a professional painter and part-time instructor in art at Penn State Brandywine, inspiration came from his observations as a teacher, his social media feed and the sky.
Nearly 50 Penn State Brandywine students attended THON weekend in support of Alexa Anderson, Matt Hoyer, Deep Patel and Annie Ward—the campus' 2018 THON dancers. Throughout last year, the student club raised $29,600.80 for pediatric cancer, ranking them No. 7 among Penn State Commonwealth campuses.
Penn State Brandywine made its claim as the No. 1 team in Penn State University Athletic Conference basketball as both its men’s and women’s teams earned conference championships on their home floor Sunday afternoon. Brandywine men’s basketball won its first-ever conference crown, while the women’s team successfully defended its title and has now won six league championships overall.
