It's #Brandywinner Wednesday! This week's Brandywinner is Duc Luong. In addition to serving as a Lion Ambassador, Duc is a work-study student for our campus’ admissions office, IT office and Center for Ethics & Civic Engagement. Congratulations, Duc!
First installed at the University Park campus in 2017, short-story dispensers are now at many Commonwealth campuses and allow students to choose from one, three or five-minute stories.
Choosing from one-, three- or five-minute stories, Penn State Brandywine students can read, interact and share their thoughts with the addition of a new short-story dispenser recently placed in the campus’ Vairo Library.
Meet Joshua Phillips, this week’s #Brandywinner! As assistant teaching professor of communication arts and sciences at Brandywine, Joshua teaches courses in rhetoric and conducts research on topics such as homelessness, poverty and popular culture.
This week's #Brandywinner is Myeisha Matos! Myeisha earned her bachelor's degree in communications from the Brandywine campus in 2015. While a student, she was a member of the women’s basketball team and worked part time in the athletics department. Today, Myeisha works full time in the athletics department as the recruiting, retention and alumni coordinator.
On Friday, Feb. 8, Penn State Brandywine welcomed current and former student-athletes to campus to unveil new recognition banners in the gym. Unveiled during a ceremony at halftime of the men’s basketball game, the banners recognize conference and national championship teams, as well as individual athletic and academic achievements.
Student workers are an integral part of campus life at Penn State Brandywine. While gaining valuable skills and experience, they also provide support in critical areas of campus operations, including Student Affairs, tech support, food services and Lion Ambassadors.
