As Penn State’s 2018-19 academic year begins at all 24 locations, scattered across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the University's campuses continue to grow and change and this year is no different. Some locations have experienced growth in the form of new infrastructure, other campuses have new leadership at the helm; and still other locations have new academic programs and degrees to offer students.
Throughout the week of April 16-20, Penn State Brandywine hosted a CanstructionU competition to help raise awareness and support for hunger in the local community. Eight teams entered the competition, and the Canstruction entries were judged in several different categories.
This spring Penn State awarded almost 14,000 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master’s, law, doctoral and medical degrees, bringing the University’s number of graduates to an estimated total of more than 800,000. Many of the University's graduates received their degrees at campuses other than University Park.
