Brandywine professor receives selective NSF research grant

Megan Povelones, assistant professor of biology at Penn State Brandywine, has been named recipient of the distinguished National Science Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award by the National Science Foundation (NSF), a five-year grant to study mitochondrial structure and function.

University community encouraged to participate in Strategic Plan forums

As the University implements its long-range strategic plan that provides a vision for Penn State’s future, a series of public forums will take place to gather ideas on putting the plan into action. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in those forums, starting with “Stewarding Our Planet’s Resources” on Jan. 23.

Athletics week in review: Jan. 9-15

The Penn State Brandywine women’s basketball team extended its longest winning streak in four years with a trio of victories, including a pair of key Penn State University Athletic Conference triumphs, last week
