Friday’s earthquake that was centered in New Jersey registered on Penn State Brandywine’s seismometer and brought news media inquiries to Distinguished Professor of Earth Sciences Laura Guertin. As part of her interview with 6abc/Action News reporter John Paul, she explained how the East Coast was once an active plate margin back in geologic time.

Penn State professor joins forces with Brazilian University in virtual exchange

Lynn Hartle, professor of education at Penn State Brandywine, recently completed an Experiential Digital Global Engagement (EDGE) program with a partner in Brazil. EDGE is an international virtual exchange initiative rooted in project-based learning, inspired by the Collaborative Online International Learning program at the State University of New York.

Nick Senatore joined Penn State Brandywine as the new housing and food services manager in the Housing and Food Services office in February. Coming from URBN as an assistant general manager, Senatore is looking forward to getting to know everyone in the Brandywine community.
