Senior psychology major Mitchell Stokes, left, graduated at a ceremony held on the Penn State Schuylkill campus on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Stokes is a Navy veteran who owns his own gym and is father to the happy little girl in this image. Graduate Makayla Brown-Paul hugged her family after Penn State Lehigh Valley's annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 8 held at the Lehigh Valley campus. The campus awarded associate and bachelor’s degrees to 72 students. The featured speaker for the event was Dr. Suresh Nair, physician-in-chief of Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute (class of 1982). Lehigh Valley Corporate communication student Savannah Malesky also spoke during the ceremony as the 2021 Student Marshal.
