Penn State Brandywine offers two Bachelor of Science degrees in biology that you can complete on campus. Students may also transition to University Park at the beginning of their junior year to complete their biology degree.
This degree is for students interested in living things and includes classes in animals, plants, and microorganisms, plus ecology and evolution.
This degree prepares students for professional degree programs in medical and allied health fields as well as graduate degree programs in biology. Courses include anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, developmental biology, genetics, and cell biology.
Internships, Research and Application
Undergraduate student research is an important part of our program. Students have coauthored research papers with faculty in biology, chemistry, and physics.
