Brandywine athletes donate school supplies to Chester Schools

Penn State Brandywine kicked off the 2016-17 athletic year on Monday night with its annual Brandywine Games. In addition to a night of fun, food and games, those attending were asked to donate school supplies. Over 500 items were collected by the 150 student-athletes, coaches and Brandywine staff and faculty in attendance.

Brandywine to add varsity track & field; announces coaching staff

Penn State Brandywine will debut men's and women's track and field as varsity sports in 2017-18 with Angela Fitch serving as head coach and Joe Frassenei taking over assistant coaching duties. The additional sports will up Brandywine's number of varsity programs to 13.

Brandywine takes fourth at USCAA Softball National Championships

Penn State Brandywine saw its season come to an end on Wednesday afternoon at the USCAA Softball National Championships after suffering a 4-1 defeat to NHTI at Firestone Stadium. The Lions placed fourth at the national tournament, one of the top finishes by a Penn State University Athletic Conference softball team in tournament history.

For the second consecutive year, Penn State Brandywine was crowned Penn State University Athletic Conference softball champion after blanking Penn State Beaver 8-0 on Monday afternoon in the conference tournament title game.
