MEDIA, Pa. — Penn State Brandywine will host its first-ever homecoming from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Attendees can enjoy barbecue-style food, Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream, campus tours and family-friendly activities alongside fellow Penn State alumni, as well as Brandywine students, faculty and staff.

A $5 general admission ticket includes access to all activities, lunch and Berkey Creamery ice cream. Children 12 years old and under are free, as are current Brandywine students with their Penn State student ID.

“We’re very excited to host the campus’ first-ever homecoming,” said Assistant Director of Development Sarah Daly, who’s helping to organize the event. “This is a great opportunity for alumni to stay connected with the campus, as well as reconnect with fellow alumni and campus faculty and staff.”

Leading up to the homecoming celebration, the campus also will host a watch party for the Penn State vs. University of Maryland football game, complete with tailgate-style food, at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27. This event is free and sponsored by the Brandywine Alumni Society and Blue and White Society.
