Open to students in grades 9 through 12.
This program is designed for high school students who are interested in pursuing a future in STEM. The Penn State Brandywine Admissions Office staff and STEM faculty will discuss how best to prepare for a college major in a wide variety of STEM fields (some degree programs you have heard of, some you may not have known even exist!). Learn what you can do now to be STEM-ready for college and for a future in science and engineering. The program is open to students of all genders but focuses on the inclusion of girls who have an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Schools may bring up to 12 students with two teachers/chaperones. Parents/guardians may also sign up to individually bring their children. Chaperones/parents are required to stay on site at the Navy Yard during the program.
Registration is limited to 120 students.

The program will include programs by STEM faculty to share the variety of college majors, from cybersecurity to forensic science to energy engineering to health and medicine to statistics, and more. College undergraduate STEM majors will be on-site to lead hands-on activity stations and to answer questions about college life as a pre-scientist. Admissions counselors will present on topics from how to email college staff and professors to how to search for scholarships.
Lunch is provided.
