Opening a new building takes years of planning, research and attention to detail. At Penn State Brandywine, hundreds of contractors have worked together to make the campus’ two newest buildings — Orchard Hall and the Student Union — just right for incoming students.

Alumni spotlight: K. David Boyer Jr., class of 1973

K. David Boyer, a 1973 graduate, began his Penn State career at the Delaware County campus, which was renamed Brandywine in 2007. He arrived on campus during one of Brandywine’s most formative seasons—when it moved from the original Chester location to its current home in Media.

Brandywine receives Pepsi Challenge Grant for sustainability work

Penn State Brandywine has been selected as one of five Commonwealth campuses to receive a $5,000 grant through Pepsico. As grant recipients, the Brandywine campus will partner with the University’s Sustainable Communities Collaborative (SCC) to address sustainability issues throughout the state.
