On Friday, Feb. 8, Penn State Brandywine welcomed current and former student-athletes to campus to unveil new recognition banners in the gym. Unveiled during a ceremony at halftime of the men’s basketball game, the banners recognize conference and national championship teams, as well as individual athletic and academic achievements.

Penn State Brandywine senior and women’s basketball player Brandi James achieved a milestone when she scored her 1,000th point as Brandywine defeated Penn State Fayette in a home game on Jan. 25. She was congratulated by Athletic Director Bobbi Caprice and Head Coach Larry Johnson. Caprice also scored more than 1,000 points when she was a student-athlete on Brandywine’s women’s basketball team.
