When National Public Radio (NPR) picked up an academic hashtag going viral on Twitter, it also reached out to Kathleen Kennedy, associate professor of English at Penn State Brandywine, for further information. The hashtag, #ThanksForTyping, showcased the unnoticed work of wives, left unnamed, who typed and edited manuscripts for their husbands in the mid-20th century

Penn State Brandywine presents a journey to the past

Penn State Brandywine will present a program about the history of the campus property and the adjacent area as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. The event will be held on Monday, May 1, 6-8 p.m. in the historic lecture hall of the Delaware County Institute of Science in Media.
