LAURA GUERTIN
Professor of Earth Sciences
B.S., Bucknell University in Pennsylvania; Ph.D. in Marine Geology and Geophysics from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Florida.  Recipient of the Commonwealth College Award for Teaching Excellence, 2005.  Recipient of the George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching, 2006. 
Scholarly/Research Interests: innovative uses of technology to enhance student learning in introductory-level geoscience courses; incorporating service learning with the geosciences.
