Career Services has created two groups:
Brandywine Career Services for students (no pin required to enroll). Please encourage students to "find" and join this group. It contains work sites of previous interns, career fair registration form, fair booklet of employers, resources for preparing for the fair, working the fair, following up, resume/cover letter writing, interview tips, the Penn State Career Guide and more.
Brandywine Internship Coordinator Resources contains support materials for all coordinators such as an Internship Guidebook, the Penn State Career Guide, documents on the subject of unpaid internships (the law and the NACE position paper), Principles for Professional Practice, a link to the Internship Survey* and more.
*Internship Survey - students complete this at the end of their internship experience to provide feedback and pertinent data. This survey allows us to gain a campus-wide perspective and useful statistics (% paid, average pay, % leading to a job offer, satisfaction level, etc.) which can be evaluated by major as well. By completing this survey, Career Services is able to create an expanding database of internship sites for future interns.
