The Learning Center is one of the busiest and most exciting places for students on our campus. Students come in to study throughout the week, to participate in study groups, to meet tutors,or to study for tests. Whether you are struggling in a class or managing well, the Learning Center offers something for you. We offer professional and peer tutoring throughout the semester for almost every class. Although an appointment is advisable, we also encourage students to drop-in.
The staff at the Learning Center recognizes the value in learning from one another. We help students organize and run study groups every semester. The LC offers a variety of courses, including study and learning skills programs, service learning courses with valuable community service opportunities that can open your eyes and your heart. In addition to courses, if you need some helpful tips on topics such as time management, studying for exams, or taking more effective notes, Learning Center workshops are for you.
The Learning Center lives up to its mission of offering an active and collaborative learning environment and educational opportunities for all students!
