The Commons/Athletics Center includes a main gymnasium, with provision for a circular track and seating for 1,000; an auxiliary gym; and a newly renovated fitness center containing various cardiovascular and weight machines as well as free weights.

The fitness center is open Monday through Friday mid-morning through early evening. Hours are posted at the start of each semester. The gymnasium and weight room are also open for recreational purposes except when being used for classes or varsity sports practices.

The campus is also home to the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Memorial Tennis Center. The complex features eight courts, two of which are lighted for nighttime play. The courts are adjacent to an athletic field for soccer, rugby, and a variety of intramural sports, and an outstanding baseball field.
