Kate Northrop will be the featured poet/author for Penn State Brandywine's annual LiTapaLooZa literary festival set for Thursday, April 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tomezsko Classroom Building Lounge. Northrop's first collection, Back Through Interruption (Kent State University, 2002), received the Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Award and was runner-up for the Great Lakes New Writers Award. She is currently associate professor of English/creative writing at West Chester University, and contributing editor at The American Poetry Review.
